Nylon Suspension Bushing, for 1_3/4″ wide springs and stock equalizers
Trailer suspension bushings are cylindrical sleeves or inserts made of materials like rubber, polyurethane, nylon, or bronze. They are typically found inside the eyes of leaf springs, equalizers, or hangers, depending on the type of suspension, and serve as pivot points for bolts or shackles. The bushings found on common RV, equipment, and boat trailers will be nylon or bronze. It is recommended that bronze bushings have greaseable or “wet” bolts. This lubrication ensures smooth pivoting of the suspension components and increases longevity through reducing heat and friction.
