A U-bolt nut is a threaded fastener that screws onto the ends of a U-bolt. They come in different styles and designs. In trailer and vehicle suspensions, U-bolt nuts hold the leaf springs, tie plates, and axles firmly together under high clamping force. U-bolts and U-bolt nuts are toque specific based on application and thread diameter.
